Hello Neighbor 2 has a release date, pre-orders and a beta version today

hello neighbor 2 finally has a release date, and the good news is you won’t have to wait too long to uncover skeletons in the closet again. The sequel is scheduled to be released on December 6, 2022on Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox and PlayStation Stores.

In Hello Neighbor 2 you return once again to the strange town of Raven Brooks. However, this time you won’t be trying to get into your creepy neighbor’s basement to uncover his secrets. The story continues and instead you take on the role of journalist Quentin.

With a string of missing children cases including Nicky Roth (Hello Neighbor’s original protagonist), Quentin has come to Raven Brooks to further investigate Mr. Peterson (The Neighbor). Raven Brooks has a whole host of unknown faces to meet and examine, and new tools like Quentin’s Hello-Copter to help you through the new open world.

Pre-orders open today, and each pre-order grants access to the beta. Don’t worry now – the beta won’t spoil the story for you. In fact, it’s not part of the story at all and is a playtest of how Hello Neighbor 2 will pan out. The beta itself is simply a scenario so players can get a taste of what to expect from tinyBuild Games in December. Did I mention Hello Neighbor 2 also has four-legged friends for you to investigate?


The aspiring sleuths among us can pre-order and beta test the game today for PC, Xbox or PlayStation. In addition, anyone who orders the Deluxe Edition gets access to Hello Neighbor 2 five days early and will receive an all-day DLC at launch.

The Day One DLC will include Late Fees, Back to School and Hello Copter. Late Fees and Back to School add two new maps and characters, with more puzzles for budding investigators to solve. Meanwhile, Hello-Copter is one of Quentin’s tools, a new game mechanic.
