Here’s a closer look at the tribes of Horizon Forbidden West

In this new video for Forbidden Horizon in the West, we’ll look at some of the tribes that Aloy will encounter.

In it, you will be given a closer look at the people living on the border and their lands and customs.

Some tribes will be unfamiliar to Aloy, and some will be familiar. There’s Carja and Oseram with border settlements, there’s the faded plains of the Plainsong that the Utaru call home, and then there’s the Land of the Tenakths. In these lands there will be new alliances, but you can also expect deadly enemies to encounter.

The video doesn’t reveal all the secrets of the tribes shown, as you’ll have to explore the lands and encounter them yourself to find out more.

Launching on February 18 for PS4 and PS5, Horizon Forbidden West will feature a new storyline, new and sometimes bigger robot animals such as Rollerback looks like an armadillo, Sunwing is flying and Slitherfang looks like a snake, and more as you traverse the mysterious new frontier that stretches from Utah in the United States to the Pacific Ocean on the west coast.

You can expect a more beautiful and vibrant world in Horizon Zero Dawn and the game will have almost no loading screen. The map in the game is slightly larger than the first outing and will have lakes and rivers that you can swim in. There is also a red spot affecting the area, suffocating plants and animals and starving the tribes. Weather can be quite unpredictable and can form supercell storms that inundate grasslands and fields.

Horizon Forbidden West was announced in June 2020 during a PS5 rollout and was initially targeted for a release last year before being moved to February 2022. Here’s a closer look at the tribes of Horizon Forbidden West
