Hertha have their eye on Reda Khadra – but the championship could be the best option

Reda Khadra could be loaned out again in the championship despite interest from home.

The Albion wideman impressed at Blackburn Rovers last season before a minor injury ended his campaign.

An Argus source in Germany believes Hertha Berlin are interested in his services, possibly a full transfer.

Khadra is from the city with his family and previously played for TeBe Berlin.

Anderlecht have also been linked with the 21-year-old and there will be loan options in the Championship.

Khadra is believed to have been in talks at Sheffield United but they are very unlikely to be his only suitors in the second tier.

Another successful Championship loan could be his best path into Albion’s Prem plans.

Khadra faces intense competition in wide and attacking areas within Graham Potter’s roster.

Potter named 24 players on his team list against Union St-Gilloise on Saturday, a game in which Khadra did not appear, without citing his current caps or potential departures.
