Highway Stuart beats Mick Carter in explosive pub brawl on Rainie Cross

ALL EastEnders fans know it: Stuart Highway has never been one to dodge a fight.

But in tonight’s broadcast of BBC One, the hunter will have another scuffle with Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) over Rainie Cross (Tanya Franks).

In recent weeks, Stuart has been trying to deal with his declining health.

Back in December 2021, Ricky Champ’s character was devastated when it was discovered he had been diagnosed with male breast cancer.

And after the distraction his wife Rainie by first telling her that his friend Sonia Fowler was the one with the disease, Stuart hugged her close.

But he soon got the wrong clubhead.

When Rainie After receiving flowers from Mick after helping him during a panic attack in previous episodes of EastEnders, Stuart began to suspect Rainie was having an affair with the tavern owner.

Things took a turn for the worse when Stuart discovered his other half had met Mick in Walford after spying on her.

But emotions surged after Mick – who had estranged from wife Linda – confronts Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) about an alleged affair.

Believing Jay was talking about Rainie, Stuart could no longer be convinced of the opposite.

In new scenes that aired this Friday on BBC One, Stuart is unable to contain his anger after concluding that Rainie is cheating on him with Mick.

An angry Stuart reaches the end of his rope and lets his temper work to his full potential… by punching Mick.

Little does Stuart know that Jay was in fact referring to Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks), whom Mick helped while she was being investigated by social services.

Mick has agreed to pose as a pair with the villain Walford to get her close to his daughter Scarlett, on one condition: that no other citizens have to know he’s helping her.

This isn’t the first time Mick and Stuart have used physicality.

But will Stuart realize his mistake before things really get out of hand?
