Hisuian Avalugg is the next Legends: Arceus monster to join Pokémon Go

POKÉMON Go is getting ready for the holiday season. So if you want to get away from the family for a few minutes, you have a good excuse to go for a walk.

Here’s everything coming to Pokémon Go from December 19-25.

Bergmite is in the spotlight this week

The Spotlight Hour begins this week on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. local time.

The Shiny version of Bergmite has just been launched, so this is the perfect time for the spotlight.

Mountain mites appear more frequently during this hour, so you have a good chance of catching a shiny one.

Additionally, you’ll get Double Candy for catching Pokémon while Spotlight Hour is active. This applies to everyone, not just Bergmite.

Cobalion completes the Swords of Justice in Raid Hour

Raid Hour begins on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. local time.

Cobalion is the last Sword of Justice available in a raid hour.

It will have its signature Sacred Sword ability once you catch it this week, and it will appear as a five-star Raid Target in all Gyms.

Go Battle League adds the Holiday Cup

The Go Battle League is changing on Thursday 22nd December 2022 from 8pm UK time.

With the Ultra League remaining a week away, the Great League edition of the Holiday Cup is joining the party.

Normal, Grass, Electric, Ice, Flying, and Ghost types with a max CP of 1.5,000 are allowed to participate.

The winter holidays are in the second half

The second half of the Winter Holiday event begins on Friday, December 23, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Mega Glalie and Shiny Bergmite were introduced in the first half of the event.

However, the second half remains a secret, and we won’t know what will be introduced until Friday.

Winter Wonderland brings new gifts and rewards

The Winter Wonderland event begins on Saturday, December 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Last year’s Winter Wonderland event gave players a collection of challenges, research tasks, and gift bonuses.

This year is no different, with the event starting on Christmas Eve and ending at 8pm on Christmas Day.

Hisuian Avalugg saves the raid

Raid Day will take place on Saturday, December 24, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

Following Spotlight Hour, the Hisuian regional form of Bergmites Evolution Avalugg enters the game.

During the event, you can catch a Hisuian Avalugg in raids if you didn’t get a chance to evolve one during Tuesday’s spotlight.
