UNVAXXED Britons planning to visit Spain have been left disappointed after claims they could travel to the country.

However, Spain’s tourism board has since backed down, saying Brits still need to be vaccinated to enter the country.

Earlier today they issued a statement claiming that anyone who has not received both vaccinations can enter Spain with a negative covid Test.

However, they have since said that is not the case, and only those between the ages 12 and 17 who are unvaccinated can only enter the country with a Covid test.

Vaccinated Britons can enter by showing proof of vaccination. However, Spain is one of several European countries that has set an expiration date for vaccination certificates.

You must be able to show that you have been fully vaccinated against Covid within the last 270 days are considered vaccinated.

If it has been more than nine months since your second dose you must have received a booster shot, otherwise you must follow the rules for unvaccinated travelers.
