The big secret was revealed when a TikTok user took to the social media platform to share the hack with his followers.

Joe Moscrop posted a video and simply said “Ryanair Flight Life Hack” as he demonstrated how to access the secret compartment.

People were amazed by the hack and one simply said, “No way!”.

Meanwhile, another Ryanair passenger has revealed how she avoids paying for extra baggage when flying with the airline.

TikTok user Nicole Baskerville shared a video detailing her hack to avoid paying the additional fee.

Nicole shared how she discovered her genius trick while flying to Birmingham.

The travel enthusiast said: “You know with Ryanair you now have to pay for extra baggage and literally just get a free handbag. Well, that’s your purse.”

Nicole said: “And it fits in the compartment, it fits under the seat. And voila – it fits so much.

“I felt like I had a suitcase full of clothes… and this is my purse.”

She continued, “I have this in Penneys. It’s a Minnie Mouse suitcase, so it was €35, but there wasn’t another suitcase that was smaller.”

On Ryanair flights, two priority carry-on bags cost between €8 and €30 when booked online.

A 10kg check-in bag costs between €12.99 and €23.99 if booked in advance. If charged at the airport, it can cost €23.99 – €35.99.
