Holly Hagan revealed that the stress of her upcoming wedding day caused her to miss her period.

The 29-year-old former Geordie Shore star is planning to marry footballer fiance Jacob Blyth, after they had previously planned their wedding last year.

The couple were forced to postpone their big day twice due to coronavirus restrictions affecting the wedding.

But even though Holly and Jacob’s day will happen this year, that hasn’t stopped the reality TV star from feeling the strain of taking the lead.

On her Instagram Story yesterday (May 27), Holly opened up about the “crazy” effects planning the day has on her body.

The star shared a screenshot of the pregnancy app Clearblue, which shows she’s currently on day 42 of her period – but hasn’t gotten her period yet.

Alongside the photo, Holly explained: “Wedding stress is no joke. The effects of stress on my body are insane.

“I’ve had three periods of being perfectly on time and this one was supposed to be perfectly timed last week when we left. It’s now 12-14 days late (no, I’m not pregnant). ”

Now, the Newcastle star may have to “risk” his period on the wedding day.

She added: “I’m like hmm now so I started taking my period delay pills and risking bloating plus having to remember to take them 3 times a day and if not I can continue. customary…

“Or venture into my wedding day and trust me, I can’t even wear my dress, don’t be afraid to change tampons.”

Holly is currently in Ibiza as she prepares to marry her partner Jacob, who proposed in June 2019.

There’s certainly a long time to come for the couple after postponing not once but twice due to coronavirus restrictions affecting the wedding.

Meanwhile, in a previous Q&A on her Instagram Story, the star confessed that she’s been looking forward to being the first Geordie Shore actor to get married.

She shared: “The first time I got engaged, I was very excited when I was the first to get married.

“I feel the irony of being hated the most, a fat person [no one] ever wanted to get married.

“So happy to think, w**k guys, who’s laughing now? But honestly my personal growth over the past two years, to be honest, it doesn’t matter now. with me too.”

Holly, who rose to fame on the MTV reality TV channel Geordie Shore, began dating sports athlete Jacob in 2017.
