Holly Willoughby will miss Dancing On Ice tonight after testing positive for Covid.

The This Morning host will not be able to host tonight with Phillip Schofield after testing positive for the virus – but she will be back for the live final in two weekends.

Speaking of their friendship and close bond, Holly told The Mirror and other press: “They’re different shows and that’s the great thing about that. There’s one thing that’s really easy when we work together it’s not like you’re in, oh we just have to find our feet or our rhythm, that’s absolute it’s great to do something a little different but still together .”

Phil added: “It was lovely and I absolutely adore Holly and so to be able to joke around with each other in the morning – and without a doubt, This Morning is a different kind of show with this style.

“It’s a shiny show, it’s a big show, beautifully produced and gorgeous. So yeah, it’s great to have a mate.”

In tonight’s semi-final, the remaining celebs will perform two ice skates in hopes of making it to the next leg of the competition, which will air over two weekends.
