DANCING On Ice host Holly Willoughby was spotted sledding in the snow this winter break this weekend.
The This Morning host shared a glimpse of a fun family vacation before she returns to the broadcaster next Sunday for her return to the ITV competition.
Holly, 40, can be seen beaming from ear to ear and grinning for the camera as she was filmed plunging down an icy slope on a small purple sled.
Entirely warm in a ski jumpsuit, including a warm jacket, trousers and boots, the star held on tight as she sped down the hill.
She overlaid the video with Foreigner’s Cold As Ice tune as she told fans she was “preparing for an icy January” ahead of DOI’s premiere next weekend.
“I’m ready for you Dancing On Ice,” the mother-of-three added in the caption of the video, which she shared with her 7.5 million Instagram fans.
Holly and her family have enjoyed a long Christmas break before she is scheduled to return to the screens of This Morning on Monday, January 10.
She will also co-host the new skating competition series Dancing On Ice from Sunday, January 16 – alongside her close friend Phillip Schofield.
It comes as The Sun revealed that Holly had been given permission to film ITV for two and a half weeks when she join a big new show on rival BBC.
Her bosses were so keen to keep her, they allowed her to be a co-host Wim HofSuperstar Survival with Comics Lee Mack, 53 years old.
Holly will fly to Southern Europe on January 17, the day after the premiere of ITV’s Sunday night primetime talent series, Dancing on Ice.
She will be flying back to the UK at the weekend for an ice dance performance.
It comes three years after she filled out Ant McPartlin in I’m a Celebrity during his self-imposed break from seeking help with alcohol and drug addiction.
A source said: “Holly loves I’m a Celeb so much, which has given her the confidence to hit it off on her own and work on more mainstream solo TV projects.
“Holly did an excellent job of playing the role of Ant and was one of the highlights of the show that year.
“She has high career ambitions and is starting the year off to her liking.
“However, she absolutely loves This Morning and her on-screen partnership with Phillip, so it won’t be for long. She is only grateful to the bosses of ITV for giving her the freedom to work on her own projects. “
Holly, who is said to earn £730,000 a year for her role four days a week on This Morning, is estimated to earn £100,000 for her BBC work.
Wim Hof, 62, better known as the Iceman, is an avid runner who can withstand freezing temperatures.
Celebrities taking part in the show will go through wild and death-defying trials in Europe’s harshest conditions, to try to defeat their demons including anxiety and insomnia. .
Holly said: “I can’t wait to work with Lee and Wim on this show. Lee is a favorite in our house because he’s hilarious and funny and I’ve been a fan of Wim for a long time. “
