Holly Willoughby misses Dancing on Ice semi-final after testing positive for Covid-19

Holly Willoughby will not host a Dancing on Ice semi-final on Sunday after testing positive for Covid-19, ITV has announced.

na announced, an ITV spokesman said that the semi-final would be hosted by Willoughby’s co-host Phillip Schofield alone.

“Unfortunately, Holly Willoughby is unable to host tonight after testing positive for Covid-19,” the spokesperson said.

“We look forward to Holly returning for the live finale of Dancing on Ice.”

Sunday’s semi-finals will see the famous contestants skate twice and also include a double elimination.

Paralympian Stef Reid was last week the latest celebrity to be dropped from the show.

The jury unanimously voted to save Kye Whyte, BMX Olympic medalist after an intense skating match between the pair.

Willoughby and Schofield commend both contestants and say the quality of this year’s performances has reached an all-time high.

Brendan Cole, Pussycat Dolls star Kimberly Wyatt and singer-dancer Regan Gascoigne all scored a maximum of 40 points.
