Holly Willoughby shares adorable photo of her parents on their 45th wedding anniversary

The This Morning host posted an adorable photo of her parents Linda and Brian celebrating their sapphire anniversaries as she shared a ‘life lesson’ she learned from her mother about love

Holly Willoughby shared a loving tribute to her parents, Linda and Brian as they celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on Saturday.

This Morning presenter Holly, 41, went to her Instagram account to post a photo of the loving couple sitting outside together marking their sapphire anniversary in the garden, with Brian’s arm hugging Linda.

Along with the picture Holly wrote: “Happy 45th wedding anniversary… when my mom woke up this morning she said to me… ‘I know he loves me, because after I watered the garden this morning my feet were in (sic) too cold so he took the warm slippers and gave them to me ‘….

“Life lesson… find someone to share sandals with… #true love #couplegoals. ”

Within four hours of posting this photo, it had received nearly 80,000 likes and over 700 comments, including one commenting: “Wow, 45 years later they have to be married so young it looks amazing .

“I’ve been married for 37 years and I think it’s an accomplishment. Happy anniversaries to your parents and another happy year.”

Another said: “Happy Anniversary @hollywilloughby mum and dad. Another year of love has passed and continues to grow stronger! Enjoy your anniversary weekend! ”

The third added: “My husband will do the same and has done many times. Totally agree. Happy anniversary. Xx.”

The photo was originally shared by Holly’s sister and author, Kelly, who describes their parents as ‘the couple that showed us how to do it’.

Meanwhile, earlier this week, Mirror Online reported Holly was planning to resume her vows with husband Dan Baldwin this summer.

The couple, who has three children together, met in 2004 before getting married three years later. This August will mark 15 years of marriage.

An insider told Closer magazine: “Holly and Dan are madly in love and she doesn’t want to wait any longer – insists they can always do it twice!

“They’re hoping to have a refreshing dream date over the summer with close friends and family.

“She feels incredibly fortunate to have found so much happiness in both her professional and personal life, and is thrilled to share that and continue to nurture it with her new vows. me.”
