Holly Willoughby is working with husband Dan on a new TV series after they were both inspired by their new healthy living ethos.
The This Morning presenter has teamed up with her husband’s TV producer for the upcoming BBC show Freeze the Fear with Wim Hof and says she’s inspired by the thought of water therapy Wim’s cold.
Holly, 41 years old, says Closer magazine, she presented the idea to Dan after reading about Wim and his wildly successful deep breathing methods, because she was “always looking for things to make life easier or to a little better”.
She’s been telling her husband about Wim for 15 years because she’s “astonished” with his technique, and says they both really love Wim’s idea.
“I told Dan about him, but not for the sake of an idea of the gig, sort of he’s amazing, and we should do it,” Holly explained, adding that Dan “was created the best performance around.”

Wim’s ideology, called the Wim Hof Method, introduces people to deep breathing techniques and freezing cold temperatures, to unleash “a multitude of benefits,” including less stress, better sleep. and a stronger immune system.
Holly said she was captivated by the character of a Dutch motivational speaker and says it was its simplicity that intrigued her and made her want to try it herself.
“If I’m going to discover something, it has to be quite simply relevant to my life. I think that’s the key to success, if it’s that simple, it can become a part of your life,” she shared.
Former soccer player Patrice Evra, TV channel Gabby Logan, opera singer Alfie Boe, actress Tamzin Outhwaite, weatherman Owain Wyn Evans, Dianne Buswell of the serious team, rapper Professor Green and soccer singer Chelcee Grimes are the celebrities participating in the show.
And Holly admits she’s “jealous” to see their transformation as they learn Wim’s techniques through a series of challenges.

“You can see the change, you can see what they’re leaving, and it’s potentially contagious,” she said, as she revealed that her mindset has been changed simply to around it.
Freeze the Fear with Wim Hof starts next Tuesday (April 12) on BBC One at 9pm
