Hollyoaks character killed as new villain claims first victim stunned fans

Hollyoaks aired an appearance of The Undertaker on Channel 4 on Friday and it wasn’t long before a character was killed.

Hollyoaks fans were shocked Friday night, when the E4 episode of the Channel 4 series aired a brutal appearance and death.

The soap’s new villain The Undertaker finally arrives and is identified, leaving Sienna, Ste, and Ethan fearing for their lives.

Actress Glynis Barber made her Hollyoaks debut as newcomer Norma, revealed as the village’s newest villain, as she claimed to be her first victim.

The remaining viewers fear Ste, Ethan or Sienna will be killed after their recent sly trades, and Sienna appears to be the victim in the scheme.

Norma worries about her lost money, which Sienna and Ste stole and has since struggled to pay back.

But Ethan stepped forward to take her place, as all three sobbed about what might lie ahead – only to have a turning point.

All are horrified when Norma takes the life of an unexpected person, new colleague Asher.

Asher is revealed to be Norma’s accountant, but also her secret lover, and he has recently been pressuring Sienna, Ste, and Ethan to get the money back ahead of time.

Sienna had heard all about The Undertaker but wasn’t too worried – that was until she and Ste realized the mysterious villain was coming their way.

Norma wastes no time making threats and she makes it clear that someone will die for surpassing her.

But what they and the viewer don’t expect is that Norma will shoot Asher dead, before blowing up he is a police informant who is secretly trying to take her down.

Making it clear this isn’t her first murder, Asher asks her, “When do we have to see these sick theaters?”

She replied, “Don’t worry gorgeous, it’ll all be over soon,” before killing him.

As the characters standing in front of her watch in shock, Norma tells Ste and Sienna to clean up her mess, while promising she won’t be done with Ethan.

Onlookers watching at home were stunned by this change, and more so by the fact that Norma had killed her own lover without flinching.

One viewer said: “She scared the crap out of me shooting Asher when I thought it was sienna Ste or Ethan.”

Another said: “Norma killed Asher,” with a shocked face emoji, as a third fan tweeted: “OK fair play with Ethan for taking responsibility, but Norma shot Asher without flinching!”

A fourth tweet read: “Wow didn’t expect Norma to kill Asher I think Ethan sienna or Ste.”

Other fans predicted more murders to happen, with one commenting: “I’m sure it won’t be the last…”

Another said: “Norma started like she was going to continue…”, while some fans also speculated she was in a relationship with another villager.

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6:30pm on Channel 4, with the next episode on E4 at 7pm.
