A house on Billionaires’ Row in the UK has burned down after being destroyed by a massive fire in the early hours of this morning.

At 3.45am today, around 40 firefighters were called to a property on Bishops Avenue – nicknamed ‘Billionaires Row’ – in north London.

The roof, first floor and ground floor of the family home were completely destroyed.

The huge blaze, which is being investigated, was brought under control at 6am but emergency services were still at the scene well into the morning.

The area has been cordoned off by emergency services and investigators are investigating the cause of the inferno.

Station Commander Rob Hazzard said: “The property is believed to be unused and empty at the time of the fire so fortunately there were no reports of injuries.

“Firefighters upon arrival were faced with a significant fire affecting the entire large building.

“Crews worked hard to fight the fire and bring it under control.”

The house is located on Bishops Avenue, which consists of about 66 villas and has been nicknamed “Billionaires’ Row”.

Property is sold for millions upon millions of pounds and the street is said to be one of the most expensive in the world.







The station’s commander, Rob Hazzard, said the property was not currently in use and there were no reports of injuries.

According to reports, many of the houses are empty for much of the year.

Mega-rich owners living on the streets include Richard Desmond, former owner of Express Newspapers and Channel 5, as well as members of the Saudi royal family and Poju Zabludowicz – a billionaire art collector and philanthropist.
