A giant shark hungrily devours a large tuna hanging from the side of a fishing boat, to the shock of those on board.
The animal, believed to be a mako, approaches the tempting meal from the depths of the crystal clear waters.
Before anyone can react in time, the fisherman’s catch is in his powerful jaws as he viciously moves from side to side to rip the carcass in half.
One of those on board says, “It’s coming from below, what a beast.”
The ten-foot animal swims away before resurfacing and tearing at the flesh of the hanging fish.
The short clip was widely circulated in Spain as a warning of swimming hazards, although it is believed to have been filmed three years ago.

On the video clip, he says, “Holy smokers, that thing is huge dude! That’s like 15 feet! The thing is huge.”
David Stamatis, who owns the boat company Billingsgate Charters, narrated Boston.com He steered the ship closer to Shark’s Edge to give the family a better view.
“They loved it, it made their journey. Not only did they catch a bunch of fish and lobster for dinner — that was an incredible bonus,” Stamatis said.

Stamatis revealed it was seen in Cape Cod Bay in about 60 feet of water.
He said, “This is a majestic, beautiful, massive animal and to see it up close is a once in a lifetime event for these people.”
