House Of The Dragon cast shines at UK premiere in London

The cast of the highly anticipated Game Of Thrones prequel House Of The Dragon gathered in London’s Leicester Square on Monday night for the premiere of the new series.

Former Time Lord Matt Smith, who played Daemon Targaryen on the HBO series, wore a slit black suit with chunky silver necklaces over a black tie and sporty slicked back hair as he walked the red carpet before the show. premieres on Sky next week .

House Of The Dragon is a fantasy story based on Fire And Blood by author George RR Martin, set 200 years before the events of Game Of Thrones.

The HBO television series chronicles the beginning of the end of House Targaryen and the events leading up to the Targaryen Civil War, known as the Dance of the Dragons.

Paddy Considine, who plays King Viserys Targaryen, the fifth king of the Targaryen dynasty ruling the Seven Kingdoms, attended the event in a navy suit, accompanied by a tie featuring a small blue skull.

Emily Carey, who played the young Alicent Hightower in the series, beamed on the red carpet in an orange ensemble with smoky eye makeup and black hair pushed back from her face.

Rhys Ifans opted for a more casual outfit than a navy zip-up jacket and trousers paired with a white t-shirt.

Welsh actor, known for his role in the romantic comedy Notting Hill, played King Otto Hightower in House Of The Dragon.

Joining Ifans, 55, on the red carpet is his on-screen daughter Olivia Cooke, who plays the older Alicent Hightower.

The 28-year-old British actress stunned in a blood-red velvet gown with floral detailing, accompanied by simple long silver earrings.

On the red carpet was also Steve Toussaint, who plays Corlys Velaryon, a famous maritime explorer who has built his home into a seat of power and wealth.

The British actor, originally from Barbadia, opted for a burgundy suit with a blue shirt.

Australian actress Milly Alcock wore a dramatic floor-length black dress, with bright pink lipstick and blonde hair cut in a short bob.

The 22-year-old was given her breakout role in the series after being cast as Rhaenyra Targaryen.

Emma D’Arcy, who plays Rhaenyra Targaryen, wears eye-catching black PVC trousers with a long white shirt overlaid with a yellow turtleneck.

They completed their look with navy blue flats, mauve gloves and bronze eye makeup.

D’Arcy, 30, previously starred in Wanderlust and Truth Seekers before landing the part on the show.
