RESIDENTS were furious once again to see caravans parked on a troubled patch of grass this morning.
But The Argus can confirm that the world famous Zippos Circus is being built on Hove Lawns today and will remain until September 5th.
Travelers regularly park on the lawn next to the Statue of Peace, causing irritation among local residents.
One person said they were “disgusted” when it last happened on August 11.
The Argus contacted Sussex Police and Brighton and Hove City Council to ask if they had received reports of the caravans and are awaiting replies.
But this time it’s Zippos Circus using the space as it opens the six-day event at 7pm tonight.
Martin “Zippo” Burton, founder and owner of Zippos Circus, said he “can’t wait” to be back and looks forward to bringing audiences a “packed suitcase of fun and excitement” with our new show Bon Voyage adventure” to offer.
Spectators can expect an action-packed show including motorcycle Globe of Death by Brazilian Lucius Team, fast juggling and whip cracking by Czech star Toni, contortion from Mongolia and aerial antics by Ireland’s Garcia Duo.
