How do you feel about the new generation Cyberpunk 2077 update on PS5 and Xbox Series X?

Yes, we have it. It’s been 433 days since Cyberpunk 2077 hit our digital streets to – mixed? Well, let’s go with that – mixed results. For some, it’s what they’re hoping for, a gorgeous first-person RPG with all the futuristic tech they can handle, especially with a willingness (and perhaps a little luck) to get past the error. For others, it is the disappointment of an entire generation and the end in destroyed expectations. No one can argue that it has damaged CDProjekt’s ever-present reputation.

And after all this time, it’s finally here on the latest generation of consoles. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions / WILL released yesterday in a surprise (albeit heavily rumored) release along with a major rebalancing patch, which includes some graphical tweaks across all systems. The release has been celebrated, but we’d love to know what you think. But that does not mean that launching new generation versions of the game is not without problems – away from it.

Below you will find a small poll where we want you to think about the game, its development and this latest update. Plus, what could happen in the future?

Of course, feel free to expand, discuss, and argue furiously in the comments. As for me (hello, name is Ben), I didn’t feel like playing Cyberpunk when it came out – an old PC and just the previous generation of consoles. I have more options now but yes lots of games. I’m catching up on a couple of JRPGs I’ve missed, there are more JRPGs than any man can handle, Elden Ring’s in a bloody week, plus major selling points for the new console – Halo Infinites and Forbidden Wests of this world – are starting to stack up. Who has time for a good but flawed 100-hour RPG from two years ago?

Well, maybe me, but not until Christmas. How do you feel about the new generation Cyberpunk 2077 update on PS5 and Xbox Series X?
