How Graham Potter can replace Marc Cucurella at left-back
Graham Potter says he is happy with his decision to play at left-back in a four-man defence.
Cucurella could play three roles and Albion looks well covered in two, at full-back and on the left side of a back three.
But they aren’t so good off with true left-backs operating in a foursome.
Potter is confident Levi Colwill, on loan from Chelsea, can play at left-back although his best role is widely regarded as central.
The Albion boss said: “We have a couple of options there.
“Solly (March) can play there. He’s played for us there before.
“Levi can play there and Joel Veltman played there.
“We have to assess and see, but comfortable so far.
“But with the window open, you always have to keep looking.”
Albion accept they are now being linked with interest in several left-backs.
Among the first was Adria Pedrosa at Espanyol but The Argus was told there was no truth to such reports.
