How long does it take to beat Hogwarts Legacy: What comes after the game?

HOGWARTS Legacy releases tomorrow (February 7th) for those who pre-ordered the game, and people are excited to dive in.

It’s the greatest Harry Potter game of all time and offers a lot more to do than games you’ve played in the past.

We’ve already had a chance to play Hogwarts Legacy and we know how long the story will take depending on your playstyle.

Here’s everything you need to know about Hogwarts Legacy’s main story, side quests, and what to do after the credits roll.

Hogwarts Legacy: How long are the main story and side quests?

Depending on how you want to play Hogwarts Legacy, the amount of time you will spend playing the story will vary.

Most of the content is in the side missions given by various people in the school.

Our fastest player took 21 hours to complete the main story by game time.

However, it seems that the in-game timer stops in menus e.g. B. managing spells, equipment and your inventory.

We believe it took about real time 27 hours when we focused on those 44 main story missions.

However, there is a massive amount of secondary content, including collectibles, assignments for teachers, and favors for classmates.

If you’re trying to get the most out of Hogwarts Legacy, we expect you’ll spend more than 50 hours with it.

Hogwarts Legacy: What is the post-game content?

After the main story, you have the option to continue playing Hogwarts Legacy.

This way you can explore the school and its surroundings freely and clean up any side missions that you couldn’t find or finish.

There are also some new missions that are triggered once you complete the main game.

This is part of a new story arc called Prepare for the OWLs and is divided into two new main missions.

• Talk to Professor Weasley
• Complete your Wizard’s Field Guide

Once you complete these, you will need to complete another mission called The House Cup.

This will allow you to participate in the Year-End Festival in the Great Hall, but there is a fairly high caveat.

You must be level 34 to complete the postgame, which is a few levels higher than the level required to complete the game.
