How to cancel an easyJet flight?

How to cancel an easyJet flight?

To cancel an easyJet flight, you need to visit the easyJet website.

Go to Manage Booking and use your last name and booking information to login, then select the flight reservation you want to cancel and click “Cancel”.

If you’re asked to pay a cancellation fee, you can do so by entering your card payment details – and your flight will now be cancelled.

Alternatively, customers can call easyJet’s customer service team on 0330 365 5000.

You can also cancel your flight at the easyJet Help Desk at most airports – but this must be less than two hours before take-off.

If your flight is canceled due to the coronavirus travel ban or the State Department advises you not to travel to your destination, you will receive a full refund.

But if you choose not to fly because of personal safety concerns and the flight continues, you won’t get your money back.

How much is easyJet flight cancellation fee?

If you cancel within 24 hours of booking, you will receive a refund minus the cancellation fee, which is £49 online and £55 over the phone.

How long in advance do you have to cancel?

After 24 hours of booking, easyJet flights are non-refundable.

But if a serious illness or family loss causes you to cancel, contact customer service.

They can eliminate the fee and provide a voucher to use for six months. You may be asked to provide proof, such as a death certificate.

Can I get my money back?

If the refund is due, the company says it will refund the card that made the reservation.

This process should come in three to four days, but may take up to 28 days. You should contact easyJet if it takes longer and you have 12 months to claim a refund.

If you don’t fly for any reason, you get a refund from the government flight tax.

From the UK this is £13 per flight for over 16s on all routes – with the exception of Egypt, Jordan and Israel it’s £80.

Flights from Inverness and Jersey are free of charge.

There is no time limit to claim this refund and passengers can contact easyJet customer services to do so.
