How to Change iPhone Alarm Volume – Trick to turn down the sound in seconds

If you’ve ever tried to reduce the alarm sound using the volume down button, you’ve come across a big problem.

When you do that, it actually just turns off the alarm.

So shortly after (and every day) you’re woken up by the same overly loud alarm sound.

Thank God, Apple has a function built into the iPhone that fixes this.

And it’s already proving popular.

The trick was shared by tick tock Creator Scott Poldermanwhere it earned around 2,000 likes.

There are two important ways to do this.

First go to Settings > Sound & Haptics.

Then look for a slider under Ring and notifications.

You can drag this slider left or right to adjust the volume.

As you drag the slider, an alarm will sound so you can hear it change.

However, you can also enable “Change With Buttons” in the same menu.

In this way, you can finally use your volume buttons on iPhone to change the alarm volume.

This means, of course, that the volume is no longer reduced Snooze the alarm clock.

However, you can temporarily silence an iPhone alarm by tapping the big snooze button that still appears on your home screen.

It can also be worth browsing through different alarm tones.

Some alarm tones are less annoying than others, so try to pick one that will wake you up peacefully.

But make sure you don’t have an alarm clock that’s too quiet or zen, or you might oversleep.
