Crafting cards in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel

There are only two ways to get new cards in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel: Crafting and pulling. Crafting cards requires Crafting Points, which you get from dismantling cards you no longer want. The points can then be used to create brand new cards of the same rarity.

Scissors is when you open a card pack full of random cards, this is the best way to get more cards for scrapping.

To craft cards, start by creating a new deck to access the deck menu. On the right hand side of the screen you will see a list of tags. Some of these cards will be highlighted, but most of them will be grayed out; These are cards you don’t already own.

Crafting points are separated by rarity, ranging from Normal, Rare, Super rare, and Extremely rare. To craft any card, you only need 30 of that card’s Crafting Points. Cards give 10 Crafting Points for their rarity when dismantled, with some even giving 15, which means that about three cards of the same rarity must be removed to create a new one.

For example, dismantling three Ultra Rare Dark Magician cards will give you enough Ultra Rare crafting points to craft a Slifer, a Sky Dragon. Sometimes creating a Super Rare or Super Rare card will unlock new Secret Pack to drag the word.

You cannot remove cards from the Structure Deck, as this will render the deck unplayable.

Sometimes crafting a card grants you a foil version of that card, which has a shiny rainbow sheen and is set apart from other copies of that card. Removing a foil version of a card does not increase the chance of a new card being generated, so be careful when dismantling rare silver faces that you may want to keep for your collection.

Crafting points can also be obtained by completing quests and earning levels in the Duel Pass. Missions are free for all users, while Duel Pass is a battle pass version of the game. The Duel Pass costs 600 gems, which can be easily acquired through quests and rewards full price upon completion. Both quests and Duel Passes award gems and other rewards for completion, so they’re a great way to earn card packs in addition to Crafting Points.

Due to their expensive nature, card crafting is best left to when you only need a few more cards in your deck. Obtaining themed Secret Packs is a great way to earn cards to enhance your deck, and when you just need the right cards to complete the deck, you can tap into a stockpile of Crafting Points that you have built by playing the game.
