However, rumors that the streaming titan is working on a tool that would allow users to test their voice skills date back to 2019.

It seems the new mode is finally rolling out after years of development.

To get the new mode you need to update the app by going to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Here’s how to try Spotify Karaoke mode

After downloading the update, open the Spotify app and select the song you want to sing along to.

Scroll down to see lyrics that scroll in real time as the song plays.

Next, tap the “Sing” option at the top of the lyrics sheet.

This will launch Karaoke mode. Sing along with the track and Spotify will tell you which notes you hit and which you miss.

It even gives you a percentage score at the end of the song so you know how accurate your cover was.
