GOOGLE introduced a new look for Gmail, but not everyone is excited.
The tech giant has tweaked the desktop design, giving more prominence to things like Chat, Spaces, and Meet.
A quick look at Twitter and you’ll see some unimpressed users.
“I really really hate the new email subject font in the Gmail redesign,” one tweeted.
“This Gmail update is pretty minor but also… why and I hate it,” said another.
Luckily, Google bosses are giving us a chance to turn back time.
Yes, there is a special option to return to the original view.
How to bring back the old Gmail
If you want to change the layout of Gmail on desktop back to how it was before, first log into your account and click the settings gear icon.
You should see a message at the top that says, “You’re using the new Gmail view.”
click Go back to the original view.
A box will appear asking why you don’t like the new layout.
Don’t hesitate to tell Google what you think – or you can ignore it.
In any case, click the Reload Next button.
And voila, your Gmail is back to how it used to be like nothing ever changed.
