It starts at just under £7 a month and was revamped last month to add hundreds of new games.

Sony is now offering gamers a seven-day free trial so they can try before they buy.

The deal grants you access to the slightly more expensive Premium and Extra tiers of PS Plus.

These offer additional benefits such as a downloadable catalog of almost 400 PS4 and PS5 games.

A month-long PS Plus Extra subscription costs £10.99, while PS Plus Premium costs £13.49 for the same period.

If you’re not sure if you want to spend that much, you can try it for a week without paying a dime.

To get a free one-week trial, go to PlayStation Plus website. You don’t have to be a Plus subscriber yet.

You will be asked to choose whether you want to sign up for a 1 month, 3 month or 12 month Extra or Premium subscription.

Make sure you cancel this before the free week is up if you don’t want to pay any fees.

Note that you will need to sign up with payment information and that you will be charged after the trial expires unless you cancel.

If you cancel the trial before the end of the week, you will continue to have access to the subscription for the entire week.

It comes after Sony last week announced a loyalty rewards program that adds money to your PlayStation wallet the more you play.

Registration for PlayStation Stars is free and is scheduled to launch later this year.

The program gives players loyalty points for participating in various campaigns for the program.

As the company in a blog entrythis includes promotions like playing a game monthly, earning certain trophies, or being the first in your area to go platinum in a major title.
