US broadcast coverage of 2022 Winter Olympics continues on Thursday with medals in skiing, speed skating and figure skating up for grabs. All times are Eastern.
SCIENCE FREEDOM The US network will replay the men’s first half qualifiers starting at 7pm. The Americans competing included Aaron Blunck, Birk Irving, David Wise and Alex Ferreira. And Eileen Gu of China, who won two medals in Beijing, her third search, this time the women’s final, will be broadcast live at 8:30 p.m. on USA Network and at 9 p.m. on NBC. Team USA is represented by Hanna Faulhaber, a 17-year-old who finished fourth at last year’s world championships; Brita Sigourney, who won the Olympic bronze four years ago; and Carly Margulies.
During other freestyle events, NBC Olympic Channel will cover the men’s cross-country ski qualifiers at 10:45 p.m.
CURLY Catch the men’s semi-final between the United States and England, which will be rebroadcast at 8pm on CNBC.
SPEED ICE SLIDE Brittany Bowe of the United States, a world record holder, is a favorite and heavyweight medal contender in the women’s 1,000 meter speed skating event. NBC will rebroadcast the contest at 8 p.m
SKATING NBC re-airs the women’s freestyle skating at 8:30pm and again at 10pm All eyes are on Kamila ValievaThe 15-year-old Russian skater at the center of the doping scandal, who is leading the field, is entering the event.
NORDIC COMBINED The range of the 4×5 km relay in the men’s team will be rebroadcast at 10 p.m. on USA Network.
