Huge upgrade for new iPhone 14 ‘leaked’ that could save you money

APPLE could massively increase the storage space you get on an iPhone very soon.

A new leak suggests that Apple is preparing for a big change with this year’s iPhone 14.

The new iPhone is expected in early September.

We have the tip to buy an iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus/Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

And now industry analysts at TrendForce say the iPhone 14 Pro models will come standard with 256GB of storage.

In contrast, last year’s iPhone 13 Pro started with 128GB of storage.

That’s half of the new amount rumored for the iPhone 14 Pro.

Last year’s standard iPhone 13 came with 128GB as standard.

So it seems likely that the same will hold true for the entry-level iPhone 14 in 2022.

Normally you would have to pay £100/$100 to upgrade from 128GB to 256GB of storage.

That means you could end up saving a significant chunk of money if you prefer to have more storage space on your device.

Of course, Apple could potentially charge more for the Pro model as standard – negating any savings.

Unfortunately, Apple hasn’t confirmed this rumor, so it’s impossible to say if it’s true.

We won’t know the full details of the iPhone 14 lineup until the official Apple event on September 7th.

The Sun Tech Team will be covering the event live, so be sure to stop by for the latest news.

iPhone 14 release date – when will it be available?

Apple sticks to a fairly regular release schedule for its flagship iPhone series.

This year Apple is holding a special event called “Far Out” on September 7th.

The company hasn’t confirmed that a new handset will be unveiled at the glittering affair – but it’s almost certain that we’ll see the iPhone 14.

Of course, the iPhone 14 will probably not be available directly on September 7th.

Instead, we’re expecting iPhone 14 pre-orders to start on Friday, September 9th.

Then we would imagine that media reviews of the product would arrive on Wednesday 14th September.

And then the actual iPhone 14 release date will likely fall on Friday 16 September.

Of course, none of these dates are guaranteed.

iPhone 14 – what to expect

This year we expect four models: iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

For the Pro models, Apple will likely remove the “notch” at the top of the screen and introduce a more powerful A16 processor.

We’re also expecting better cameras in general, including a possible astrophotography feature.

And storage could be ramped up to a whopping 2TB maximum.

All iPhone 14 models run on the latest iOS version from Apple.
