Huge WhatsApp update will change your chats forever with NEW text styles

A BRAND NEW type of WhatsApp text is in the works: Polls.
The top secret feature is currently being built into a hidden version of WhatsApp – but could become public soon.
WhatsApp regularly tests changes in the beta “test” version of the app.
And details of a survey function have now surfaced in WhatsApp.
The feature was uncovered by WhatsApp investigators WABetaInfowho regularly unveil new features that are being tested for the app.
The new WhatsApp feature is already available on other social apps like Twitter and Telegram.

But the WhatsApp bosses at Meta (formerly Facebook) seem to be building their own version.
The feature seems to allow you to create polls for group chats.
This includes adding a question and up to 12 different answer choices.
The beta is a trial version of WhatsApp used by people who want to test the latest features – before their general release.
WhatsApp has not yet released the polling feature in beta.
But it could come very soon.
“WhatsApp is working on creating polling options for groups for a future update of the app,” WABetaInfo said.
“The ability to create polls is now available as it is under development, but you can see that this is another step forward.
“If the feature is available in a new update, there will be another changelog on this site.”
The blog shared a screenshot of WhatsApp with an option to enter a poll question.
Other people can vote for an answer, but everything stays within the group.
Only people within the group can see the results.
It could be a way for friends to make a decision on where to eat.
Or maybe a company could WhatsApp poll its employees about the state of the food in the office canteen.
You could even ask your family about rescuing a dog from a shelter — and if it’s right for you.
Or ask for a verdict on your new outfit. Brace yourself, you may not get the survey results you want.
The bad news is that it’s impossible to say when – or if – this feature will be available to the general public.
WhatsApp often tests new features, and many of them take months to roll out.
And it’s also possible that WhatsApp could decide it totally hates the idea and scrap it before it’s ever widely released.
In any case, find out how to join the WhatsApp beta below.
