Hunt corrupted bunnies for helpful loot as the bunny’s revenge begins in the New World

A new event starts today New world, and if you want to slay some corrupted rabbits and feast on loot, this might be a good time to spend in Aeternum.

The latest update for New world adds this event where corruption owns rabbits everywhere. During the two-week event, you can hunt down these corrupt rabbits to get some special rewards. Some of these rewards include the Defiled Rabbit’s Foot, a twisted consumable that gives you 40 minutes of extra luck when you use it. The effect scales with your level and you can get up to five per day during the event. Diamond Gypsum is an item that can increase Expertise for your chosen gear. You can get up to three of these per day. There’s also the Defiled Storage Chest of the Hare, which is a rare drop. Get one (and you’re limited to one per player) and you’ll not only get great storage capacity, but also a talking point for your home, as it comes with a special Corruption visual effect.

The update follows the recent release of the big heart of madness content, and today’s patch also includes some adjustments and fixes for that content and other issues. A few spots in Isabella and Neishatun’s boss encounters were being exploited by players to avoid extra growth or attacks when standing or lying down. These have been fixed. Another fix also caused Neishatun to become unresponsive.

The update also includes a fix for high-level elemental plants not dropping the correct resources when gathering, as well as two quest updates. With the addition of the new solo alternative for some mission content, the quests “Saboteur” and “Master of the Storm” have been disabled in their previous format. If you have these outstanding for any characters, you will need to re-acquire them and complete them as you please.
