One GREAT grandmother credited her long life with regularly eating McDonald’s Big Macs behind church.
Dorothy Nedd, from South Philadelphia in Pennsylvania, just celebrated her 106th birthday.
Dorothy’s niece Zulema told reporters that Christianity and McDonald’s have long been mainstays of Dorothy’s life.
She told FOX 29 News: “She always took me to church.
“And then, after church, we sometimes go to McDonald’s and my grandmother buys a Big Mac.
“She’s been using Big Macs for a long time.”
Dorothy has always enjoyed having her family around her, with nine great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
But sadly she hasn’t been able to see them for the past few years.

“Our family will come every Friday until the pandemic hits,” says Zulema.
“We don’t do that anymore, so it’s just FaceTime, and they miss her, but nobody wants to put her in danger.”
Another long-liver, 106-year-old Mary Nicholson, of St Helen’s, Merseyside, claims last year to have been drinking full-fat milk, cream and butter, as well as enjoying “a little bit of whiskey at night”.
The pensioner has survived two world wars plus three flu pandemics and celebrated his birthday by beating Covid-19 for the second time.
