Miss Universe model Grainne Gallanagh shared about her sister’s difficult pregnancy journey and the “breath of relief” when she entered the afterlife.
Miss Ireland 2018 is happy to share with fans that she is about to become an aunt, but admits the road to her sister Gemma is very difficult.
“I feel like I can’t express how unwell she has been and how difficult this has been for her,” she wrote on Instagram.
“She had severe vomiting and was hospitalized for months and her weight dropped drastically.
“When I went down to Clonmel to see her in the middle, I was shocked, she looked like a different person.”
The Donegal native shared the story with her followers in hopes they could understand the pregnancy complications some women face.
“It’s frustrating when people see it as morning sickness – ‘yes I have morning sickness too’.. when she goes through months of drooling without being able to get out of bed, her weight, her weight. decline day by day, it feels like nothing one person understands.
