A MUM turned detective to prove her jealous boyfriend killed her kitten.
Susannah Bragg, 27, came out of the bathroom to find her four-month-old pet, Peppa, dead in the living room.
She agreed when boyfriend Joshua Sharp, 25, suggested that she bury the cat – but quickly became suspicious when she discovered her ex’s puppy had also died weeks after she met her. he.
Susannah contacted her ex – who confirmed her pet dog died after being with Sharp. So Susannah was determined to dig up her pet and hand it over to the vet for an autopsy.
It confirmed Peppa had a skull fracture and brain hemorrhage and that the RSPCA was called in. Susannah said: “I was really sick of watching Peppa being dug up.
“But I need answers and I still doubt Sharp is evil enough to hurt my cat. He seems a bit jealous of the animals and often says that the dog gets in his way from cuddling me.
“He seems to hate any attention being taken away from him. Whenever he’s around, animals act weird but he just keeps repeating that he’s an animal lover. I was very suspicious so I approached his ex via Facebook.
“I couldn’t believe it when she said she had doubts about Joshua hurting her dog, Stark, too. She said the dog would whimper whenever she left it in the room with Joshua. On the day her dog died, she found him lying on his side, panting and dry.”

Susannah, of Yateley, Hants, believes Sharp hit Peppa in the head with a cell phone.
The RSPCA investigated both cases and Sharp was tried in Reading magistrates court. The mechanic from Winnersh, Berks, was found guilty of causing death by failing to protect animals from pain and suffering and will be sentenced on January 18.
RSPCA Inspector Sharon Chrisp said: “Hopefully his sentence will deter this behavior in the future.”
