I found a bizarre handwritten note from my eligible neighbor telling me not to park in “their” space

A CHEEKY neighbor took the trouble to handwrite a roommate a note asking them not to park in his spot.
The stunned local resident, who wished to remain anonymous, said they woke up one morning to find a mysterious letter pinned to their windshield.
They say there is no allocated parking on Broomhouse Crescent and therefore parking wherever there is space is fair game.
But an eligible person felt that she had the right to apply for her own parking space because she parks there regularly.
The photo of the note, shared with Edinburgh Live, read: “Hi, could you please park your car somewhere.
“I parked my car on different streets every day.
“You park in my parking lot every day.
“Thanks in advance.”
The person seems to think they are entitled to a permanent spot, even though the busy residential street is essentially an open street with no designated spots.
Area residents say that finding a parking space has been extremely difficult lately and they have to take a spot where they can find one.
The resident concerned said: “I woke up this morning to this note on my car.
“My car is across from my house.
Lately my neighbors have parked a lot of cars on the street, so unfortunately like everyone else I have to park where I can get a spot.
“I realize the hassle of this, but there is no designated parking space in the Crescent.”
