I found a trick to hide ANY app on iPhone – it only takes seconds

THERE IS a clever iPhone hack that you can use to hide almost any app.

It can prevent people from tripping over sensitive app when using your phone.

The trick was shared by the TikTok creator @markdx_where it has received thousands of likes from impressed Apple fans.

There are two tricks at play here.

The first is to know how to hide home screen pages.

That’s thanks to the app library, eliminating the need for a home screen cluttered with apps.

You can now hide apps from the home screen without having to delete them.

And you can even hide entire pages of apps to make your life easier.

The new Apple feature was added in iOS 14 and is still available in iOS 15.

To check if you are walking correctly iOS Version, go to Settings > General > Software update.

How does it all work?

First of all, if you scroll to the far right of your home screen, you now have a permanent app library.

This is where all your apps are stored and automatically sorted into their own categories.

So if you have apps on hidden home screen pages, they will still be visible in your app library.

Hiding a homescreen page is easy.

First, make sure any apps you want to hide are stored on a homescreen page that you’re also happy to hide.

Then hold your finger on the home screen until your app icons start to shake.

Next, tap on the speech bubble with dots at the bottom of your screen – the one that shows which page you’re on.

This will take you to a home screen view where you can hide individual pages – by “unchecking” them.

When you’re done, just click Done in the top right.

These pages aren’t gone forever and will remain perfectly preserved until the next time you want to unhide them.

Of course, you can also leave them hidden forever.

Then, in TikTok video, we will learn how to hide the app from Siri as well.

If you’re on your iPhone, you’ll notice that swiping down on the home screen brings up an app.

Likewise, you can search for an app by voice or text.

However, it is possible to disable these features for individual apps.

Go into Settings and search for Siri & Search.

Then scroll down and select the app you want to hide.

Tap Settings, then turn off the following:

  • Show app in search
  • Show content in search
  • Show on home screen
  • suggest app
  • Suggestion Notifications

This means Siri will stop suggesting that app even if you specifically searched for it.

There’s still one way to find an app: the App Library.

Even if you hide the app from your home screen, someone could still uncover it in the app library at the far right of your iPhone screens.

It’s also possible for someone to simply enter your settings and opt out of the settings you changed.

But it’s a good way to make an app harder to find.
