At least for the moment, she doesn’t seem really worried that her fiancé might betray her in such a deceitful way.

The message read: “I’m getting married in February and I want to test my fiancé’s loyalty, even though I trust him a lot. I just wanted to do it because I made a bet with someone. my friend. I bet 500 BRL that he won’t fall on your test”.

In order to get his attention, Lidia started stalking her fiancé on the Instagram, liked a few of his photos. Until he contacted her via private message.

During their conversation, Lídia asked if he was dating anyone currently, knowing full well of course that he would be getting married in just a few short weeks.

Lying in panic, the man replied ‘no’, before brazenly trying to arrange a meeting with her.

While it’s unclear if the wedding will still take place, or if the couple has indeed called off their relationship entirely, it’s unlikely the woman will trust him in the future.

One of Lidia’s followers commented: “If I were that friend, I wouldn’t take the money. How did she know about it but she was too embarrassed to say anything and bet the bride would find out?”

Another wrote: “She may be suffering now, but one day she will thank God for the bet. This friend has doubts about him.”
