One SMARTPHONE fan couldn’t help but be impressed when he received an empty box instead of the hugely expensive latest Samsung device.

Youtuber is shocked Mrwhosetheboss shared a video showing the phone-free packaging of the Samsung Galaxy 22+.

The internet star – whose real name is Arun Maini – angrily shook the box before throwing it on the floor.

“So I just ordered a Samsung Galaxy 22+, but the box is empty!” he declared.

Arun tweeted the video Samsungasked: “What happened here?”

The tech giant replied to the YouTuber that they would “want to tackle this hide and seek”.

Samsung has been approached by The Sun for comment but has yet to respond.

It is unclear whether the matter has been resolved privately or if it was just a marketing ploy.

Mrwhosetheboss is viewed by millions on YouTube thanks to his device testing videos, mainly about smartphones.

He has more than 10 million subscribers on the platform, as well as 1.7 million followers on Twitter.

The Galaxy S22+ is one of three new phone models announced by Samsung in February in its latest attempt to dethrone Apple’s iPhone.

It retails for £999 for top specs, including 256GB of storage.

At the bottom you have the standard Galaxy S22 but above it is the S22 Ultra, which features an incredibly impressive 100x ‘spatial zoom’.

The Galaxy S22 and S22+ are almost exactly the same in terms of performance, with screen size being the main difference.
