I photographed five UFOs hovering over my house – just balls of bright white light, it was extraordinary

A caregiver from WATERFORD is convinced he encountered UFOs in the sky above his home last week.

A photo of the perceived extraterrestrial activity shows five white spheres in the sky over a housing development in the Gracedieu area outside Waterford City.

Speaking to the Irish Sun, Martin, 58, opened up about seeing the unexplained lights at his home last Wednesday night.

He said: “I was sitting in my kitchen with my wife when these lights just appeared in the sky. I thought there were only three at first, but after taking a picture and zooming in, it’s clear that there are actually five.

“They just sucked there for a few seconds and then shot up into the sky and disappeared from view.

“My first thought was that they certainly weren’t airplanes, because airplanes don’t hang in the air. There weren’t any helicopters or drones either, that’s for sure. And they weren’t satellites.

“I don’t know of anything that could look like what they did and did what they did. It was pretty extraordinary. And there was absolutely no noise.

“I showed the picture to my brother and he said it was the most compelling picture he had ever seen of a UFO.”

When asked if he thought it could be anything other than UFOs, Martin said, “Category no.

“Without sounding like an idiot, I have to say that they were UFOs because they weren’t identified. I don’t know what they were. They were only visible balls of bright white light as they sucked quite deeply.”

Martin, who was born in England but has lived in Waterford for two decades, said the event happened so quickly he was only able to snap one picture.

He explained: “It literally lasted, just a few seconds.

“They seem to have appeared out of nowhere. I grabbed the phone as fast as I could to take a picture and I was only able to take one before they all shot away.”

When asked if he believed in extraterrestrial activity, he said, “With all my heart, yes.

“Definitely. The place is logically too big for us to be alone.”

The caregiver said he encountered another strange event about six or seven years ago, which his stepson also witnessed.

He explained: “A rather great light rose into the sky. It then broke into three pieces, flew in different directions, then merged again and flew away.”
