We all know how to clean water pipes, but did you know that you should also clean its faucet pipes on a regular basis?
One woman decided to do it after seeing others do it on social media and was stunned by the amount of monsters secreted.
“I have a Henry, and love it!” Rachael Stammers wrote on the Family Reduction Ideas and Tips group on Facebook.
“Seen someone do this the other day, so I thought I’d give it a go after having my Henry for over 3 years…”
Along with the caption, she shared an image of a black faucet soaking in a tub filled with water and Zoflora.
And while the water was already in it while the tube was in, it turned dark brown “after just 10 minutes,” Rachael added.
Fans on Facebook were quick to comment on the post, which garnered an impressive 1,000 likes within hours of being shared.
“It scares me to think how bad our story was that my dad had it for a few years and we’ve had it ever since and didn’t think it was done. My dad passed away on 2016 and we’ve been hooked on it ever since!!” one person wrote.
While another added: “I’ve had my Henry over 10 years old and have never done this – must be the right integration.”
And another commented: “I would love to do this with my mom.. over 27 years she’s had hers and has never done it!”
Others marveled that regular faucet cleaning was not routine, with one posting: “I do mine every 3 months.
“It’s so satisfying and smells so good when it’s done. It’s really sad how a clean car makes me so happy.”
Speaking of cleaning, did you know that you can clean drains with just two household products?
Take advantage of the hidden space in your dishwasher to get more out of it.
And close the blinds this way to prevent anyone from looking inside.
