I spent £32,000 on a new Range Rover but it broke a WEEK later… I’m so fed up I don’t want any more

A FUMING driver has told of the “absolutely disgusting” ordeal she went through by a “sexist” car dealer who sold her a faulty engine – and is DON’T to clean it.
Reanne Lelliott, 23, from Woolmer Green, Hertfordshire, said she was “literally” abandoned by Grange Land Rover in Hatfield.
She even said that the experience was so “exhausting” that she wanted her £32,000 Range Rover Evoque The TD4 HSE – which she just bought in December – is gone.
What’s more – she claims the company owes her more than £200 and has yet to cash it – despite having promised to pay her three months ago.
She was even forced to pay £35 for car cleaning after a service team left the engine in perfect condition and didn’t even put the engine cover back on.
Reanne – a contractor for a construction company – told The Sun Online: “It was completely broken and had five defects within a week of receiving it.

“It’s really tiring. It’s just draining.”
She said how her nightmare began just a week after she bought the car on December 12 when the 4×4 packed up.
She recounted how she was driving the car on the road – for which she pays £500 a month in financing – when it slowed to a dangerous 30mph.
The car’s engine then began to “smoke heavily” and water began to seep through the gasket on her windshield.
After a series of unanswered calls, a mechanic finally came to her aid but she was told there was nothing he could do – he even found a spare key in the car – it’s already broken.
To add insult to injury, she was not provided with a courtesy car and as a result had to cancel a £200 hotel stay in Oxford with partner Phil Fisher, 34.
She said: “My partner is p**** d off – he is not happy at all.
“Of course I can’t drive to Oxford.
“We missed our stay and £200 went straight down the drain as the car I bought a week earlier was not fit for purpose.”
I felt extremely disrespected in the situation where he refused to talk to me about my car because I was a young woman.

When she returned to the dealership with her trash motorcycle, her experience was about to reach new depths when she claimed a “sexist” branch manager “despised her” after she asked refunds.
She slams: “He walked right past me and gave the key to my partner, he balked when I asked questions.”
Reanne stated: “His exact words were ‘I’ve worked with cars for the past 28 years so I know everything that has to do with this, you don’t so I’m not going to listen to what I have to say. ” .
“I felt extremely disrespected in the situation where he refused to talk to me about my car because I was a young woman.”
When asked if she feels sexist – she replied “yes”.
Reanne was later given a “absolutely nothing” like ‘Kia Sportage’ which she had to drive for three weeks while her car was fixed.
Car accident
But when she finally got her Range Rover is back, she claims it’s an absolute tip.
She said, “There’s glue inside, the car was filthy, full of leaves, they obviously didn’t clean up even the mess they did.
“I opened the trunk when I got home and found the engine cover in there – they hadn’t put the engine cover back on.”
Reanne paid £35 to have her car cleaned and admitted there was “no reason to ask them” to cough up.
And despite chasing the agent, she said “I heard absolutely nothing about a refund” from the £200 hotel she missed.
Since then, the mechanic has had to go out four more times because there are still problems with the car, she said.
Disappointed Reanne said: “It can be said that I am extremely disgusted with the product and the service.
“A handful of people asked me what I thought of me when they were about to have one, and I told them this story and they said they’d never have one in a million years. .

“Finger pass, I get a full refund.”
