Prime normally retails for £1.99 in select supermarkets, but due to demand some have started reselling the product for significantly more money.
This has seen fans here in Ireland pay more than seven times the price to try the new drink, after an Aldi spokesman confirmed there were no plans at this time to stock the drink in Irish stores.
They said: “Aldi Ireland can confirm that there are no plans to stock Prime Hydration Drink in Ireland.”
Advertised as a “hydration drink,” Prime is primarily water with vitamins and minerals and is low in calories with no added sugar.

It also consists of coconut water, but contains no caffeine.
Irish content creator King Gaffo |. took to TikTok to give his opinion after purchasing the drink, and Food Reviews said: “So today we’re testing Prime so I’m hoping that at £15 a bottle, KSI personally spits in every bottle.”
“And if you don’t know how long it took me to get this.”
The user who posts under the handle @kinggaffofood finally commented on the drink with the words: “Not bad”.
He captioned the video: “15 pounds for a bottle of average flavored water man I love the internet hahaha #kinggaffofood #primetastetest #primehydratation”.
‘WHERE DID YOU GET THAT?’
People were amazed at how the creator had managed to get their hands on the drink in Ireland.
One said, “I’m dying to know where I could get one that I’d love to try”.
Another said: “Where did you get that? My son is looking for it and I am like a headless chicken trying to find it way too late to order online.”
While a third added: “Daylight robbery”.
The drink’s popularity grew after YouTube stars Logan Paul and KSI promoted the drink at high-profile celebrity boxing matches in the UK.
The duo came up with the idea for coconut water-based Prime Hydration after their last boxing match in 2019.
During a live stream, the two said they wanted to “compete with the biggest companies in the world” with their products – which include “Pepsi, Cola, Gatorade and Powerade.”
