Almost guilt free pizza you say? I couldn’t wait to try Domino’s new veggie pesto pizza – here’s what I thought
I love a pizza as much as anyone, but I have to say that as a meat eater I was quite skeptical about the latest addition to Domino’s menu.
Sausage, pepperoni, and beef are just a few of my favorite flavors when choosing pizza, but I was dying to try something new.
And is there anything healthier than a vegetable pizza?
The limited editionGrilled Vegi Pesto Pizza is loaded with grilled zucchini, bright red, green, and yellow peppers, juicy tomatoes, and a sprinkling of crispy red onions.
It’s topped off with a delicious pesto drizzle, topped with wine-ripened tomato sauce and a generous sprinkling of mozzarella. It’s available now at Domino’s from £16.99 for a small piece.

My pizza came promptly for a WFH late lunch and as always my local domino driver was pleasant.
I’m not used to my pizzas being this shade of green, but I love pesto – so I got over the color palette very quickly and went straight to it.
I like veggies so eating it on a pizza wasn’t a huge problem, although it took me a few bites to get used to the crunchiness.
I was really surprised how well all the flavors harmonized with each other. I added Nando’s Medium Peri sauce to mine to give it that extra kick of spice that I like. I definitely see this as the perfect last minute summer party meal.
Sometimes I feel lethargic after a pizza and often I get warm from the sweat of the flesh. I didn’t experience that at all when eating the veggie pesto, so for now it’s really a great addition to the veggie range.
My mom also tried the pizza and easily got through three slices without batting an eyelid.
Our order included the new After Eight biscuits, you get four biscuits with one Mint fondant center flavored with 100% natural peppermint and baked in Domino’s signature chocolate cookie dough.
I’ve only tried one as I don’t like mint and chocolate together – but one for the team, my mom really enjoyed it.
I would definitely recommend the new additions to anyone looking for a healthier and lighter option as the weather warms up.
For my Domino’s Pizza rating I would give it a strong 8 out of 10.
Domino’s are also launching a new Tasty Twosome offer, where pizza lovers can bag two medium-sized pizzas for just £19.99 – a great way to save money and try out the new pizza.
Or you can grab an Easter deal which includes two medium pizzas, two sumptuous sides or biscuits for £22.99 from 14th to 18th April.
After Eight Cookies are also making a comeback for a “chocolaty” twist on your Easter orders.
