We all want to enjoy a day with our kids – but for a father, this is becoming increasingly difficult because of his weight.
Simon, 35, said he hates looking at his 19th 3lb frame in the mirror and will also avoid taking pictures.
He decided enough was enough and he was going to change his body dramatically when he started to feel as if he were to continue on the same old path, then he would die prematurely.
Simon, who lives in Fredericia, Denmark started his weight loss journey in December 2020 and has lost 7 pills without even stepping foot in the gym.
After doing some research online, he set for himself strict but simple rules that he can follow, including eating little or no red meat, cutting out sugar, processed foods, etc. variables and alcohol.
In addition to the rules, he also fasts daily, which he claims has the most impact, especially in the beginning.
He says: “I recommend taking pictures every day, weighing yourself every morning, keeping the rules simple and realizing that your weight can fluctuate from day to day so don’t get discouraged.
“Diet is definitely the most powerful. If you don’t eat right, you won’t lose weight, no matter how much you exercise.

“Once I got into the groove and started seeing results, I didn’t look back. I would not have been able to continue without the support of my wife Johanna.”
Simon wanted to make sure he was documenting his progress and knew from previous weight loss efforts that he would feel demoralized at different times.
He said his goal is to turn his photos into a movie by the end of this year.
Before he started losing weight, he struggled to complete daily tasks like walking upstairs and playing with his son around the house.
He added: “I hate looking at my pictures, hate looking at myself in the mirror. Looking at me from the outside, I look like a failure.
“Having lost all this weight, I look like I’m feeling inside, I feel so much more comfortable reaching out to people because I don’t feel like I have to make up for it anymore.”
