One WOMAN shared her dramatic kitchen transformation from a shabby student-like space to a luxury retreat on a budget of just £250.
Holly Edmonds, 23, uploaded a step-by-step account of how she renovated her kitchen on a tight budget, by painting cabinet doors, walls and floors, laying a new lining over the counter tops and adding a new one. beautiful finishing details.
In a short video uploaded TikTok Holly guides viewers through the process of brightening up her kitchen.
She posted a clip with more than 70k likes with the caption: “The kitchen lights up”.
Holly then shows herself cleaning dull kitchen cabinet doors with The Pink Stuff spray and sugar soap.

She then took them off the hinges and laid them on the floor to paint them with B&Q’s GoodHome Multi surface paint in Tijana satin.
Next, she painted the floor with Ronseal One Coat in white and, once it dried, placed a hard rug in the center to soften the effect.
Instead of replacing the table top, she chose a wooden effect board and carefully glued it down using a card for machining and moldings.
Finally, she adds finishing touches like plants and accessories to complete the elegant look.
The TikTokers members were impressed with this transformation.
One person said: “Looks so much better than before! And there’s nothing wrong with doing things on a budget, buying a home at a young age is no small feat!”
