I used to be the chef for the Queen and you must have cooked your sausages wrong

SAUSAGES are a staple in many of our refrigerators – whether you prefer them fried up or mashed up for dinner, you can’t go wrong with good old pig sausages.
Whether you cook them on the pan or want to leave them on until grilled, you may think you’ve finished cooking the sausages.
But it turns out we’ve been cooking it the wrong way, and a Michelin-starred chef is here to lift the lid on how to properly cook sausages.
There are some common mistakes we all make when it comes to cooking, so listen up if you want to get it right.
Jeff Baker, a top chef who even cooked for Queen Elizabeth II told Daily Star His top tips on how to cook the perfect hot dog.
So, if you want your sausages cooked to perfection every time, you’ve come to the right place.
Take the sausage out of the refrigerator before cooking
Many of us will take sausages from the fridge and put them straight into the pan, but it turns out that you need to take the sausages out of the fridge 20 minutes before cooking.
This will help the sausages cook evenly.
Not only that, it also prevents the skin from cracking.
Use a pan
Some of you might think that cooking sausages in the oven is the way to go, but it turns out that the pan is the way forward.
Using a heavy duty nonstick pan is key.
And make sure you set the pan over low to medium heat.
It’s all about fat
Many of us will choose an oil for cooking our baked goods, but it’s all about duck or goose fat.
Jeff recommends using a teaspoon of fat to get the best bangs.
Rotate around the grease until the bottom of the pan is completely coated and then remove any excess fat.

Place the sausage in the pan but make sure not to touch the sausage.
Make sure to stir them often so they are a deep golden color.
You should cook the sausage for about 10 to 12 minutes.
Let them rest
While it’s possible your mouth is watering with the smell of hot dogs, it’s important to let them rest before sucking.
Leave them for a few minutes to let the meat relax.
This will ensure you get a tender, juicy sausage.
Mistakes you are making when cooking sausages
Leather valuation
If you stab your sausage before cooking, think again.
It turns out that doing so will cause the juices to run and you’ll end up with a tasteless dry sausage.
Avoid deep frying
If you’re the type of person who tends to add oil to the pan when cooking hot dogs, you might want to think again.
Adding too much oil can make the skin of the sausage tough and the meat of the sausage can dry out.
No baking
You may think that putting sausages in the oven is a healthy option, but you need to stop doing this as soon as possible.
Grilling the sausage prevents the outside from developing that lovely crunch we all crave.
