I broke up with my husband last year because of his serial fraud.

He has some events, but the latest one was the nail in the coffin and I finally found the courage to walk. He is still with this woman and has moved into her place. Honestly, I couldn’t care more, but we have three kids, so I have to maintain a civil relationship with him for their sake.

We agreed that the kids shouldn’t see her until they got used to the idea of ​​us separating, but then I found out that he introduced them to her without telling me first.

Apparently my daughter let the cat out of the bag, and she must have known this was going to happen, which means she didn’t care what I thought. I’m very angry with him and feel we should discuss everything related to it kids. Surely I’m right about this?

Yes, I think he should tell you because you discussed it first and he knows what you have to do. However, if the kids agree to it, then for your own sake, as well as theirs, go ahead with it without problems.

You have every right to tell your ex that he shouldn’t turn his back on you. But it seems that he is serious about this woman while they are living together, which means the relationship is not going away. So it’s not realistic for her to leave the house every time the kids come in.

You say you are not bothered, but you are. It could be because he has taken this out of your control and it could be an area, during relationships and breakups, where you feel you have some control.

It might be a question of having another discussion to re-establish how things will be with the kids going forward.
