I was exhausted from my own show and happy with the Ireland AM switch, says Elaine Crowley

ELAINE Crowley has said she’s “exhausted” from her Elaine gig and is glad it’s over.
The mid-afternoon panel show was originally called Midday before it became the Elaine Show and had aired ten years before that. pack in august.
And Elaine has admitted that she’s ready for it to end.
She told the Irish Sun: “I almost felt guilty saying it but I was exhausted by it, I did the best I could with it.
“I knew it was time to do something different because my heart wasn’t in it anymore to be honest.
“You see it was different a couple of years before the lockdown happened. It’s a talk show and you have three or four people sitting next to you going crazy.
“And at the start of the lockdown, I’m only talking to three screens, and at best for a day or two, I think I have two people in the studio and that goes back to the screens for me.”
She added: “For the sake of the best will in the world, you can’t do a panel show, a talk show like that. It’s the soul that’s destroying trying to keep it going.

“In the end, I just got banned. I miss the girls and I miss crazy and I remember how the show used to be before the end of the filming but doing a virtual talk show, I just couldn’t do it. again. !
The TV beauty is currently the host of the weekend on Ireland AM alongside Simon Delaney.
And Elaine, who was still facing her mother’s death in November, saying the changes were something she was accepting.
She added: “Maybe five years ago I was grinding my teeth and growling and complaining but now it’s just like me.
“Life happens, you have to deal with it. It was a funny old year.”
