I was so frustrated with my neighbors’ terrible parking conditions that I called a tow truck to move their cars

A MAN has called a tow truck to move his neighbors’ cars because of their poor parking situation.
The driver said his apartment block had been plagued with parking problems for over a year.
Expressing his frustration on Reddit, the man wrote, “By bad I mean there’s free parking, but they park behind parked cars and block the road because our streets are narrow, or they park in metered lots and don’t.” I don’t have a tag.
“There’s barely enough room to fit through and it’s right next to our dumpster which also sticks out and it’s impossible to look around because we live in circles.”
The angry renter said drivers “fly around corners all the time” and almost hit him and his fiancé.
He added: “The other issue is that now that it’s getting warmer we have a park in our county and the kids are starting to go out and use it more.

“I’m more afraid for her than for myself.”
The man, who goes by the username imahays, said he called Towers to have the cars removed but was repulsed.
He added: “Our flat sent an email about a month ago that allowed us to call outside of our office hours because it’s gotten so bad.
“So I called back this morning and had no trouble getting a truck out.

“I don’t know who the people are, whose cars they are, nor the people who actually live there, but it’s the apartment next door to mine and they’ve had cars parked on the street all week.
“I just had it. I don’t feel bad but my fiancé thinks I’ve gone too far.
Reddit users supported the man’s move.
One wrote: “If they are not legally parked then towing is not unreasonable.”
Another wrote: “These are selfish assholes who don’t care about the danger they create. F*** her.”
A third said: “If you’re parked illegally or not following designated parking spaces, you have the right to request a towing service.”
It comes as local residents in Birmingham are fed up resorted to blocking drivers with garbage cans to reserve parking spaces.
Garbage cans were placed next to each other, with a people carrier driver taking up two parking spaces next to it.
But that meant the car jutted into the middle of the road, forcing drivers through a narrow gap just for them to pass.
It is not known whether the driver of the white people carrier put the garbage cans there.
A shocked passerby who saw the scene on Oldfield Road, Balsall Heath recounted Birmingham Live the behavior is “ridiculous”.
They said: “The bins were flat and had no rubbish. The white people carrier was parked there next to the garbage cans.
“It was double parked next to the bins. The car was on the street. The garbage can was placed in such a way that the lids did not open.
“It was ridiculous. It took up two places.”
