KIMBERLY Wyatt has revealed how she sterilized the moments after giving birth to her third child to prevent her from having more children.
The Dancing On Ice star – who hit the rink for the first time last weekend – welcomed her last child Ford Senna in 2019 with husband Max Rogers.
Kimberly, 39 years oldrevealed how she and Max, also 39, decided to have children after sons, two, and daughters Maple, four, and Willow, six.
The former Pussycat Dolls star has been sterilized after giving birth to her son, while her singer husband opted for a vasectomy to avoid further pregnancy.
When asked about her fourth child shortly after her last, the star said YES! Magazine: “No! I had my fallopian tubes clamped while I was in it. “
Max continued: “I’m having a vasectomy too – we don’t take any chances.
“I’m sure we’ll be together forever but if we break up for any reason Kim can’t have children with anyone else, so neither can I.”
Kimberly made the decision before her “brutal” recovery from her last birth – leaving her without the strength to get out of bed.
The couple, who married in 2014, were pregnant with their third child just nine months after giving birth to their second, two years after their first.
It happened days after the star revealed the extent of the brutality DOI training left her with bruises all over her bodyinjuries to the head, knees, elbows and neck.
She joined skating partner Mark Hanretty to chat about their preparations ahead of their first Sunday night live show on ITV last weekend.
The singer told GMB hosts Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard about the brutal acrobatics she performed on the ice during her practice.
“On average I probably fall twice every time I step on the ice during a training session, that’s part of that,” explains Kimberly.
“The fall is really painful – such a bite lasts about 20 minutes before it subsides. The bruises are intense but that’s part of it.”
Ben, 47, joked that he would wear “knee pads and elbow pads,” as Kate, 54, added: “I would wear an inflatable sumo suit if I’m being honest.”
Revealing that she had tried many different mattresses, Kimberly went on to list her injuries, including some nasty bruises.
“I went to the gym one day and wore knee pads because I hit them too hard, and instead I hit my neck, head, elbows and hips,” she says.
However, Kimberly didn’t fall during her first skating performance, using her ballroom expertise to wow the judges.
Earlier this week, the star hinted that she’s definitely going to make her incredible move – “overstand”.
“My feet are my biggest weapon in life,” she said.
“Michael Jackson had a moon walk, but in Pussycat Dolls I created a standing walk and it has now become the language of dancers around the world.
“A lot of girls do it, boys do it and always tag me and that’s one thing .about:blankabout:blank
“So I’m grateful that I was able to create that and grateful to turn 40 and become a mother of three and still have the opportunity to stretch like that.”
